Document Description
Project proposes improvements at the San Lorenzo Point Overlook day use area at Twin Lakes State Beach to better accommodate visitors with disabilities and to improve drainage and bluff stability. Work will: •Adjacent to the park, modify and improve the existing concrete street parking and install a curb ramp; •Regrade and improve the existing trail surface to meet current accessibility standards; •Install four (4) accessible picnic tables, five (5) accessible benches and one (1) trash/recycle bin; •Remove an existing wood fence and install a new steel fence, further away from the bluff; •Install boulders to define pedestrian use areas and to exclude automobile access; •Construct rock terraces to address drainage deficiencies; •Plant native plants to revegetate and restore the site; and •Install directional and regulatory signs as needed.
