Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Procession Code Division 10, Chapter 2, Section 26012, approved a Cannabis Manufacturing License submitted on 7/6/2018, by Industrial Court L1, LLC. The proposed project will operate a volatile manufacturing license out of an existing facility located at 60 W 4th St, Eureka, CA 95501-0217 (APN 001-023-008-000). The applicant will store cannabis products for volatile extraction in 3,928 square foot facility. Industrial Court L1, LLC will use butane and propane extraction methods and package and label onsite. The City of Eureka will provide water and PG&E will provide power to the site. The project is located on 0.6 acres, within city limits, and surrounded substantially by urban uses. The site has no value as habitat for endangered, rare, or threatened species via BIOS, and will not result in any significant effects relating to traffic, noise, air quality, or water quality.

Reasons for Exemption
The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is a Class 32 Categorical Exemption Project. Class 32 Categorical Exemptions consist of being consistent with the City’s General Plan and Zoning Code, located withing the city limits, project is no more than five acres, substantially surrounded by urban uses, no value as habitat for endangered, rare, or threatened species, no result in any significant effects relating to traffic, noise, air quality, or water quality, and is adequately served by all public utilities. None of the exceptions to the exemption defined in Section 15300.2 apply to the Project.
