The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number BUT-57867-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Gary Smith.
The project entails slope stabilization with native grass seeding and the placement of straw wattles; revegetation of the gravel bar with live siltation plantings (a.k.a. pole plantings of riparian tree species in trenches); and removal of all debris and garbage from the project area. Work will be conducted with a small tractor and via hand labor. The project will not involve any in-water work.
