Document Description
Crown Castle Fiber, LLC. Proposes to install 338 linear feet of conduit within CALTRANS right-of-way along US Highway (US-)101 at Post Mile (PM) 11.47, as well as to perform associated temporary traffic control activities in the City of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County. The proposed work includes the installation of two (2) 30-inch by 48-inch vaults, two (2) 3-inch risers on existing utility poles, 11 2-feet by 2-feet potholes, and two (2) 3-feet by 6-feet bore pits. The installation of the 338 linear feet of underground fiber optic conduit will be done via directional boring. The conduit will be three (3) 1.25-inch and four (4)-inch steel casings. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 60 inches, a maximum width of four (4) inches, and a maximum length of 338 linear feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
