Document Description
Waterford will develop a new half-acre park site to serve 4,815 residents within one-half mile of the site. Summers Park will include the installation of interior walking paths, open grass area, an inclusive and accessible playground, shade structures and benches, and a gazebo for resident use and small community events to potentially include acoustic musical cats. The project will include drought-tolerant and native plants along with the installation of SMART irrigation systems to minimize water usage. Sidewalk improvements and crosswalks will be installed and will meet all ADA requirements.

The Proposed Project will include improvements to a City of Waterford park site that would include the installation of drought-tolerant vegetation and native plants, grading on land with a slope of less than 10 percent, and installation of a play equipment, benches, and gazebo. The Proposed Project would not remove any trees as part of the project. All work will take place on city-owned property and/or within the right-of-way.
