The Proposed Project is a land exchange between the Jamul Indian Village of California (Tribe) and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW). CDFW proposes to dispose of the 1.1-acre Disposal Property, part of the Rancho Jamul Ecological Reserve (RJER) to the Tribe for future cemetery expansion. In exchange, the Tribe would exchange a 4.0-acre parcel to CDFW to be added to the Hollenbeck Canyon Wildlife Area (HCWA) for conservation.
