Document Description
The Broadway Vision Zero Project is located along Broadway from Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard to Stockton Boulevard. This project is proposing to reconfigure the existing 4-lane roadway along Broadway to a 3-lane facility, which will consist of two travel lanes (one lane in each direction), a two-way left-turn lane and Class II buffered bicycle lanes. Potential improvements include a new pedestrian crossing at San Diego Way and other pedestrian crossing enhancements along the segment, intersection and signal modifications, and ADA improvements. Additionally, the project is proposing pavement rehabilitation including pavement grinding, base repair, and overlay. The proposed improvements would be implemented within the City’s existing right of way with a few small easements needed for ADA compliance. No roadway widening is proposed.
