The City of Manteca is located along the intersection of State Route (SR) 99 and State Route (SR) 120 in California’s Central Valley, between the cities of Stockton and Modesto. The project is a city-wide, policy-level document that provides an update to Manteca’s Climate Action Plan (CAP). The zoning and General Plan designations of the planning area will not change.
Document Description
The proposed CAP is intended to streamline future environmental reviews of development projects in the City of Manteca by assuring compliance with all relevant statewide regulations related to climate change. The Draft CAP Update has been designed to effectively address State regulatory requirements by reducing citywide greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The Draft CAP Update includes a baseline inventory of GHG emissions, emission forecasts associated with growth of the City, and emissions reduction strategies in accordance with State requirements.
