This project proposes complete street improvements along Broadway between Franklin Boulevard between Martin Luther King Boulevard. Improvements include complete street improvements, including lane reduction (road diet), buffered Class II bicycle lanes, signal improvements, pedestrian crossing improvements, pedestrian scale lighting, bus stop enhancements, and pavement rehabilitation. Improvements to the Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard intersection are also included. 1st Avenue will potentially turn into a one-way street contingent on council approval.
