Goleta Water District (District) owns and operates a two blow-off valves located along San Antonio Creek. The proposed work involves removing the existing blow-off valves and capping the pipeline, which became exposed during the February 2024 storms. If left unaddressed, the exposed valve is vulnerable to damage from potential flooding or falling trees, which could result in the uncontrolled release of water and negatively impact water storage and the surrounding environment.
