Document Description
LADWP is proposing to install a 48' x 46'-6" concrete pad adjacent to Unit 7 at Castaic Power Plant. The pad will provide a stable surface for storing cargo containers and equipment used by LADWP construction crews during the upcoming 230kV circuit breaker replacement. The work is limited to minor grading and installation of a rebar-reinforced slab with a maximum excavation depth of 18–24". The site is within the existing operational boundary of the power plant. No new structures or utilities are being installed.
