Document Description
On Church Street, the existing six-inch water pipeline would be abandoned in place, and approximately 1,990 feet of 10-inch ductile iron pipeline would be installed in the public right-of-way between Welburn Avenue and First Street using open trench methods. Across Miller Slough, approximately 60 feet of new steel pipeline would be installed attached to the south side of the Church Street bridge before transitioning back underground. Two existing hydrants on Church Street at 8335 Church Street and at the southwest corner of Church Street/Gurries Drive would be replaced with new hydrants meeting current code.
On Gurries Drive, the existing four-Inch water pipeline would be abandoned in place, and approximately 41 0 feet of eight-inch ductile iron pipeline would be installed in the public right-of-way between Hanna Street and Church Street using open trench methods.
