Document Description
The proposed project is a request to allow construction of a horizonta I meta I slat gate and fence 5-feet in height starting at the front property line measuring back 25-feet into the property, located within both the front property line setback, and front street centerline setback on a 0.54-acre parcel. The use is consistent with the Sonoma County General Plan and Sonoma County Zoning Code. The project parcel
is within the UR 1 land use designation in the Sonoma County General Plan, which is intended to provide low density residential uses such as single-family dwellings on lands with access to urban services. The proposed fence, and gate is a compatible use within the UR land use designation. The Rl (Low Density Residential District) Zoning District allows for fences above 3 feet in height within front yard setback areas with a Use Permit (Zoning Code Section 26-88-030(a)).
