Document Description
Maintenance is developing a project on Routes 20 and 101 in Mendocino County near Calpella from Route 101/20 separation to 0.1 mile east of North Calpella Overcrossing and near Hopland from 0.3 mile north of Route 175 to Crawford Creek Bridge. The purpose of this project is to replace asphalt concrete surfacing on these segments of highway to preserve the integrity of the roadway. Work will consist of cold planing asphalt concrete, replacing asphalt concrete surfacing, and placing traffic striping. All work will be within the existing State right of way. Project will include all four Route 101/20 ramps. Equipment staging will be confined to paved surfaces and existing non-vegetated turnouts. Construction Area Signs and Portable Changeable Message Signs will tentatively be placed with negligible soil disturbance. There will be no tree removal.
