An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Temecula Amending Titles 5, 8, 16, and 17 of the Temecula Municipal Code to make minor revisions to business license requirements, reduce the amount of time for nuisance cost accounting, amend requirements for modifications to conditional use permits to comply with Chapter 9.10 and Chapter 17.09, limits home occupation business appointment frequency, add a note for religious institutions in residential zones to follow existing standards, limit accessory structures to a single story, clarify shed setback requirements, amend bicycle parking requirements for multi-tenant residential developments, remove barber/beauty shop and personal service shop as permitted use in the Light Industrial and Business Park zoning districts, amend energy storage standards, prohibit exposed raceways for all signage, prohibit business advertising on community features, and add various definitions.

In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the proposed ordinance has been deemed to be exempt from further environmental review as there is no possibility that the proposed ordinance would have a significant impact on the environment pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3). The proposed ordinance amends business license requirements, nuisance cost accounting time, requirements for modifications to conditional use permits, limits home occupation business appointment frequency, limits accessory structures to a single story, clarifies shed setback requirements, amends bicycle parking requirements in multi-tenant residential developments, removes barber/beauty shop and personal service shop in Light Industrial and Business Park zoning districts, amends energy storage standards, sign standards and business advertising on community features and corrects minor errors and defining terms.
