Document Description
Maintenance is developing a project on Route 96 in Humboldt County at and near Willow Creek from 0.2 mile west of Willow Creek Bridge to 4.1 miles east of Elementary School Road. Work will consist of cold-planing asphalt concrete, replacing asphalt concrete surfacing, crack treatment, placing microsurfacing, installing rumble strips, placing shoulder backing on existing shoulder backing, and replacing pavement delineation. All work will be within the existing State right of way. Equipment staging will be confined to paved surfaces and existing non-vegetated turnouts. Construction Area Signs and Portable Changeable Message Signs will tentatively be placed on with negligible soil disturbance. There will be no tree removal.
