Document Description
The City is upgrading all of the traffic signal head backplates to be the retroreflective border type and upgrading all remaining 8" signal heads in the City to 12" signal heads. The City is installing emergency vehicle preemption at all signalized intersections where they are missing to support the City's emergency services and also installing battery back-up systems at the arterial-to-arterial intersections to prevent outages which can create safety issues at the intersection for all modes of travel.
