Document Description
The project proposes installing a waterline to assist in vegetation control (prescribed burning). A 2,150-foot-long trench will be dug approximately 18 inches wide and 4 feet deep. The waterline will be installed beginning at State Highway 175 and Forestry Road intersection on state property and will travel south for approximately 2,000 feet before turning southwest for approximately 150 feet. All trenching is within an existing disturbed roadway, parking area, and existing helipad. The waterline will connect to an existing waterline at the intersection. All trenching will be backfilled. Project work will be conducted by CAL FIRE employees with an excavator (or similar) over the course of approximately 30 days.

hazardous materials, hydrology and water quality, land use planning, mineral resources, noise, population and housing, public services, recreation, transportation or traffic, or to utilities and service systems. Documentation of the environmental review completed by the Department is kept on file at the Lake-Napa Unit HQ located at 1199 Big Tree Rd St Helena CA 94975.
