Document Description
Approval of Minor Alteration No. WA2025117, under California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Article 3, Section 6, for work within an adopted plan of flood control: The project proposes to repair the erosion on both banks and the scour around the piers, north abutment footing, and the sewer pipe using RSP. RSP will reinforce the
existing creek banks and a concrete-encased sewer pipe, as well as strengthen the northeast abutment footing and wingwall of the bridge. Temporary water diversion headwalls will be installed. The RSP will be underlain with a gravel filter. A total of 68 linear feet of RSP will be installed along the north creek bank upstream of the bridge, and the base of the north bridge abutment. 29 linear feet of RSP will be placed along the south creek bank upstream of the bridge. The RSP will extend upstream to protect an existing stream gage. RSP will be placed on the downstream side of the
concrete encased sewer pipe to prevent additional scouring.
