The project is less than 15 acres in size and is located near the Toehee and Hilltop Trails as well as untrailed areas in the south and eastern part of the park. The project will reduce fuel loading within the park as well as control invasive species and create beneficial disturbance to promote the growth of native plants. Thinned vegetation will be piled and burned onsite. Some thinned vegetation may be retained on the ground.
