Document Description
The Project will consist of indoor cultivation of a maximum of 4,000 sq ft of canopy. The project site is located at 8933 San Leandro St, Oakland, CA (APN 42-1001-20-3 & 42-4310-12-4). The cultivation will occur in an existing industrial warehouse building. Expansion is not part of the proposed project. Power will be provided by PG&E and water will be supplied by East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD).

Reasons for Exemption
The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is a Class 1 and Class 32 Categorical Exemption project. Class 1 Categorical Exemptions consist of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alterations to existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency’s determination. Class 32 Categorical Exemptions consist of environmentally benign infill projects that are consistent with the General Plan and Zoning requirements. None of the exceptions to this exemption defined in Section 15300.2 apply.
