Reasons for Exemption
The Project proposes to rehabilitate and replace existing deteriorating road surfaces, curb and gutter and install new curb ramps that are ADA compliant in order to meet current standards of public health and safety, and will allow for accessible and safe travel by automobiles and pedestrians. The Project does not propose an expansion in the number of traffic lanes. The Project also proposes to replace an existing water line, connections and fire hydrants that need to be upgraded or replaced, in order to meet current standards of public health and safety to provide safe drinking water. The project will not result in a substantial increase in capacity of the existing water services
