Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Profession Code, Division 10, Chapter 2, Section 26012, approved a Small Outdoor commercial cannabis license.
The proposed cultivation project includes the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (SF) of mixed-light mature canopy located in Trinity County on Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) 014-440-44-00. Cultivation activities include approx. 9,936 sq. ft. of mature canopy in two (2) 30 ft x 80 ft proposed greenhouses that will have four (4) 6 ft x 76 ft rows, two (2) 30 ft x 96 ft proposed greenhouses that will have four (4) 6 ft x 92 ft rows, and a 30 ft x 82 ft proposed greenhouse that will have four (4) 6 ft x 78 ft rows; immature plants will be staged in a 30'x30' open area. Processing will occur within an 8 ft x 40 ft shipping container. Harvest storage will be in a proposed 8 ft x 15 ft area within a second 8 ft x 20 ft shipping container Agricultural and chemical storage will occur within a proposed 10 ft x 12 ft shed There is a permitted septic system that services the project's wastewater needs and power is provided by TPUD. Water is supplied by an existing permitted groundwater well and stored in three (3) 2,500-gallon water tanks and two (2) 250-gallon nutrient mixing tanks. All proposed development will occur on the previously disturbed area from the CalFire less-than 3-acre conversion permit, 2-20EX-00352-TRI.

Reasons for Exemption
The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is consistent with the local jurisdiction community plan and/or zoning designations. CEQA mandates that the project is consistent with the development density established by existing zoning, community plan, or general plan policies for which an EIR was certified and shall not require additional environmental review, except as might be necessary to examine whether there are project-specific significant effects which are peculiar to the project or its site. The project activity fits within the parameters included in CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 and the activity does not require additional CEQA analysis.
