Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The State Water Board is funding the Project referred to internally as the NPDES Permit Compliance Project. The Project includes the following improvements to the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP): improvements to the headworks, installation of piping to connect new facilities, new Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system, emergency standby generator, and automatic transfer switch. The Project also includes construction of two Submerged Attached Growth Reactors, a recycle pump station, control/blower building, contact chlorine basin, an on-site sodium hypochlorite generation facility, and removal of the existing dried sludge pile located to the northeast of the ponds at the WWTP.
