Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number NEV-58317-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Town of Truckee.
The Project is limited to slope stabilization and revegetation of approximately 6,920 square feet (0.16 acre) of slope adjacent to a recently constructed park and the Truckee River. The Project would lay back and stabilize the slope between the top of bank and just above the Ordinary High-Water Mark (OHWM) at a 1:1 or lesser slope and will include creation of a flat 3-5 ft wide plant terrace. A large, downed tree from the site will be salvaged and placed on the terrace along with native plantings. The regraded slope would be stabilized with a combination of rip rap boulder armoring and native plantings.
