The project involves operation of Sycamore Pool, an artificial pond operated as a recreational swimming pool by the City of Chico. The pool is filled by Big Chico Creek through operation of a bladder dam. The project also includes operation of three ancillary facilities: a fish ladder, a bypass structure, and a temporary flashboard dam. The project also involves cleaning and maintenance of the facilities.
