Heavy winter storms in 2022/2023 resulted in erosion and slope failure that destroyed portions o( the San Lorenzo Valley Water District's pipeline system which provides water to approximately 23 700 customers The pipeline had been rerouted (rom under the creek to above ground and over a bridge and was damaged by the storms The project proposes to bury the pipeline affix it to the bridge and cap and abandon the damaged underground/under river pipeline in place
