This project involves the construction of a concrete pad and the installation of a battery storage system sized to provide power to cover Cal Poly Pomona’s campus operations from 4PM through 9PM. Power generated for these batteries will come from solar panels installed at various parking lots across campus and at the Lyle Center for Regenerative Studies. The project site is located near the yard of the campus substation at Building #191 and will entail the construction of a pad (approx. 2,035 SF) south of the yard with associated infrastructure and fencing.
