Document Description
The purpose of the Diaz Lift Station Influent Sewers Protection Structure project is to provide reimbursement to EMWD for the design and construction support to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) and Riverside County Flood Control District for the Murrieta Creek Flood Control, Environmental Restoration and Recreation Project. EMWD provided a design of the protection structure for the Diaz Lift Station sewers that cross the Murrieta Creek, since these sewers would be impacted by the channel deepening planned in ACOE’s project. EMWD will also provide construction support services for this portion of ACOE’s project. Beneficiaries of the project are EMWD ratepayers, as they would not experience an impact to services provided by Diaz Lift Station and its sewer lines.
