Document Description
The purpose of this project is to improve the Caltrans 800 MHz emergency radio system by installing a new communication system near the intersection of Route 20 and Road 900 in Mendocino County. Currently this area has no radio coverage or cell service, which delays response time during emergency events. This project is needed to improve communication between Caltrans employees, dispatch and emergency responders via two-way radio in areas with no cell service and during power outages.
