Document Description
Project proposes to install fiber optic internet access to the kiosk entrance station at Sunset State Beach to support improved services for park visitors and staff. Work will:
• Use a mini-excavator to excavate one (1) 2-ft x 1-ft x 60-ft trench;
• Install conduit in the trench and pull electrical wires and the fiber optic cable;
• On the southeast exterior wall, cut a 2-in. diameter hole in the wall and a 12-in x 12-in x 8-in. exterior pull box;
• On the interior, mount both the fiber panel and date delivery switch;
• Backfill the trench with native soil; and
• Where needed, use a 2-sack slurry of cement and/or asphalt to patch the road
