Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15301 (k) and 15061 (b)(3). The project consists of only the subdivision of the existing legal parcel into two legal parcels of 36 and 130.60 acres. The existing General Plan Land Use and Zoning Designations are consistent with the Agricultural uses currently existing on the project site. The existing use of the project site is an almond orchard with an almond processing facility. The uses of the project site are not proposed to change or expand.
