Document Description
The proposed Caltrans Minor B project consists of upgrades to striping and pavement delineation of Wrong Way Delineations and installation of signs at the Northbound (NB) and Southbound (SB) State Route (SR) 241 Off-ramp to Windy Ridge Toll Plaza in the City of Anaheim, and on the NB and SB SR 73 off-ramp to Catalina View Toll Plaza; city of Irvine in the County of Orange. Work activities include installation of One Way and Wrong way signs, retroreflective pavement, and stripe detail and replacement. The purpose of the project is to reduce potential for wrong way incidents and enhance safety by upgrading existing striping and delineation of wrong way delineations and installation of signs at these locations. The need of the project is due to needed countermeasures to reduce wrong way entry occurrences at these locations. Disturbed soil area is anticipated to be less than 1.0 acre. The project has state funding. All work will occur in State right of way. No new right of way will occur.
