Document Description
This Project will enhance vehicular traffic circulation and overall public safety by creating a "No Parking" restriction on South Fork Drive (M348} in southeastern Three Rivers, an unincorporated community in Tulare County. The Project will consist of installing "No Parking between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m." signs within a segment of South Fork Drive located approximately 2,400 ft southward from Old Three Rivers Road (M347} to the end of the County Maintained Road.
In response to constituent concerns regarding overnight parking, public nuisance regarding littering, sanitation issues, and vehicles parked partially on the road creating a traffic safety hazard, the Tulare County Resource Management Agency (RMA) investigated these concerns and determined that a "No Parking" restriction would eliminate these hazards, reduce potential vehicular/pedestrian conflicts, improving vehicular traffic circulation and overall public safety.
