Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-TRI-59728-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Ironside Gardens represented by Margaret Dickison.
The flow of an unnamed stream tributary to Hayfork Creek is currently obstructed by a wire fence at the outlet of a culvert that conveys the stream under Wildwood Road, causing sediment retention and restricting passage of organic debris. Additionally, man made materials such as scrap metal and other debris are embedded in the bed and banks of the channel which require removal. The project will remove the wire fence, accumulated sediment, and other debris from the channel and banks in order to restore natural flow and sediment delivery. Removal will be accomplished during the dry season when no flowing water is present. Any sediment removed will be placed in an upland area of the parcel where it cannot enter the stream. Minimal vegetation removal maybe required to access the area around the culvert.
