Document Description
AT&T will deploy a passive optical fiber network using 10 Gigabit per second Symmetrical Passive Optical Network (XGS-PON) technology with a Fiber-to-the-Premises (FTTP) architecture and upgrade its existing FTTP network, which serves Tiers 1-3 customer locations, to XGS-PON. An XGS-PON network operates at 10 Gbps symmetric and AT&T proposes to offer up to 5 Gbps broadband services to residential consumers.
The majority of the Project Area is south of Highway 92 in San Mateo county in the cities of Foster City, Redwood City, San Carlos, Woodside, San Mateo, Menlo Park and Half Moon Bay.
