The City of Fresno will be performing a Mill and Pave project along Bremer Avenue, extending from North Blackstone Avenue to North Abby Street. The existing asphalt pavement will be milled and removed to a depth of 2.5 inches, and replaced with new hot mix asphalt (HMA) to restore pavement quality and extend the service life of the roadway. All work will be performed by City forces, including traffic control, which will be managed in-house to ensure safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians throughout the duration of the project. As part of the scope, existing Caltrans traffic signal loops within the project limits will be removed and replaced in-kind, in full compliance with current Caltrans specifications and standards. The project is part of the City’s ongoing efforts to improve roadway infrastructure and enhance transportation safety and efficiency for all users.
