Document Description
The Guadalupe River Bank Stabilization Project: Malone Road and Blossom Hill Road involves stabilization and repair of eroded in-stream structures along the Guadalupe River to maintain flood protection and prevent impacts to adjacent properties. At the Malone Road site, activities include removal of select trees and vegetation, installation of a temporary water bypass and active dewatering system, removal of damaged concrete slope paving, and construction of new concrete slope protection with compacted earth backfill and embedded rock riprap. At the Blossom Hill Road site, activities include installation of an active dewatering system, debris removal, and replacement of a failed gabion basket structure with rock slope protection. Construction is anticipated to occur during the dry season between summer 2026 and fall 2026.
