Project improvements include the replacement of existing grass sports fields with new football, soccer, baseball, and softball fields. The Project also includes replacement of the existing decomposed granite track with a new all-weather 8-lane track. Existing athletic equipment, fencing, bleachers, and a storage shed would be demolished and replaced with new lighting, bleachers, dugouts, batting/pitching cages, shot put, long jump, high jump, discus, drinking fountains, electronic messaging, flagpoles, scoreboards, press booth, and a scorekeeper’s booth. The Project includes the construction of a canopy of photovoltaic panels over the bleachers, and support facilities including restrooms, security features, a concession stand, ticket booth building, and equipment storage. New pathways, vehicle parking, fencing, and renovated landscaping and irrigation systems are also proposed.
