Document Description
Caltrans proposes to cold plane and place rubberized hot mix Asphalt (RHMA) Type G (0.15’ depth) on the existing asphalt concrete (AC) portion of the SR 78 connectors with SR 111, and on the northbound/southbound (NB/SB) SR 86 lane segment from post mile (PM) R0.0 to PM 3.0, and to micro-surface NB/SB SR 86 lanes from PM 3.0 to PM 4.4 to preserve the life of the existing pavement. There are five locations of work. Location 1 is the work segment on SR 86, and locations 2 through 5 are the four connectors on SR 78 with SR 111. The work also includes restriping and placing pavement marking on the areas that include pavement work. All work will occur within Caltrans right-of-way.
