Document Description
The Sutter County project proposes to serve 458 unserved locations based on a March 2024 supplemental application filing. An estimated unserved population of 1,392 would be offered service. An estimated total population of 1,679 will benefit from these investments in and around the community of Yuba City and Live Oak. The last mile fiber project will provide up to 1,250 megabits per second symmetrical service to consumers. Comcast will deploy approximately 55 miles of last mile. The network will be approximately 45 percent underground. The specific sections of the project that will be designated last mile or middle mile will be finalized after detailed engineering and project design.
