Southern California Edison (SCE) proposes to remove pole #4729651 and to remove the overhead wire from pole #4389030E to pole #4729651E, as well as to perform traffic control activities within Caltrans right-of-way along Interstate (I-)5 at Post Mile (PM) R47.857 in the City of Santa Clarita, Los Angeles County. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 72-inches, a maximum width of 24-inches and a maximum length of two (2) linear feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
