Document Description
Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) proposes the installation of two (2) prefabricated vaults, a six (6)-inch fire water service and a four (4)-inch domestic water service for 734 Topanga Canyon Boulevard and along Caltrans right-of-way along State Route (SR-)27 at Post Mile (PM) 14.74, as well as to perform traffic control activities in the City of Canoga Park, Los Angeles County. The
proposed work will be done by open trench and it will be backfilled with 1.5-sack slurry, the street will be paved to match the existing conditions. The prefabricated vaults will measure four (4)-feet by four (4)-feet and six (6)-feet by four (4)-feet respectively. LAWDP is requesting a temporary encroachment permit to access Caltrans right-of-way along SR-27 at PM 14.74 to complete the above-mentioned work, as well as to perform traffic control activities. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 54-inches, and a maximum width of 27-inches and a maximum length of 92 linear feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
