Document Description
The City of Redding (City) proposes to conduct ongoing general maintenance and repair activities at the City 's Transfer Station, public properties, and private properties. As required to provide continuous service and protect the health and safety of the public, work will involve: sweeping, transporting, maintaining, repairing, and demolishing equipment, containers, carts, metal boxes; welding, painting, and washing vehicles and equipment; maintaining and repairing the shredder, grinder, and grizzle crane; accepting, sorting, and transporting hazardous waste materials, universal waste, batteries, e-waste, cooking oil, grease, and sharps; collecting, sorting, and transporting recyclables and household waste; operating, maintaining, and repairing the compost facility and associated equipment.
