Document Description
To manage localized flooding, the proposed Project will construct additional storm water infiltration trenches capable of managing runoff from storm events. Project activities will include asphalt removal, trenching up to 9.5 feet, connection to existing storm drain drop inlets, installing manholes and drop inlets, storm drain lines, and street repaving. Work will be conducted within the existing public right of way.

The project involves installation of storm water infiltration trenches. The project involves no increase in capacity and serves built-out land uses. The project area has been previously disturbed, is surrounded by urban uses, and includes existing roadway surfaces in need of treatment/rehabilitation. There are no unusual circumstances leading to a reasonable possibility that significant environmental impacts will result from the project. Therefore, the City finds that the project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) in accordance with CEQA Section 15301 (c).
