Document Description
Caltrans proposes to cold plane 0.15' asphalt concrete (AC) pavement and place hot mix asphalt (HMA) Type A along both sides of SR-17 from post mile 0.00 to 2.80. The project is intended to improve ride quality for the traveling public. Any road delineation and pavement markings that are damaged or removed during construction will be replaced. Construction equipment will include, but is not limited to, AC trucks, grinders, loaders, pavers, and rollers. One way traffic control will be required during construction. Project construction will begin mid-June 2026. All construction will remain within Caltrans right of way and equipment will be staged within Caltrans right of way in areas absent of vegetation.
