Other Information
The proposed Music Overlay District would span a rectangular block of currently commercial zoned properties bounded by Temple Street to the north, Brighton Avenue to the east, Edgemoor Street to the south, and Midland Road to the west. Additionally, the City leases Open Space to the Hamburger Stop, a commercial enterprise, on the southern portion of Old Poway Park (Park). Amongst its features and existing historic structures, the Park includes a gazebo from which public events have been hosted and include musical performances and reinforced speech. Hence, the proposed Music Overlay District would include this southern portion of the Park, extending from Temple Street north to the plane of Adrian Street, with an understood music venue location at the gazebo.
