Document Description
The purpose of the Project is to stabilize a stream bank along Millberry Creek, a tributary to Markleeville Creek, to prevent further erosion from threatening the structural integrity of an art studio. The Project proposes to restore the eroded bank by placing large boulders (24” – 40” diameter) for a length of 55-feet along the toe of the cut bank. Then additional angular rock and soil will be placed along the cut bank and be sloped to match the upstream and downstream native banks. The newly armored slope will be stabilized with mulch and straw, and then revegetated with native woody vegetation, willow stakes, and seeded with local flora.
