Document Description
The County and Town of Discovery Bay plan to improve Regatta Park to replace the existing playground with a new structure and poured-in-place surfacing, installation of a new shade structure over the existing American with Disabilities Act (ADA) playground, landscape improvements to replace irrigation equipment with water-efficient irrigation and drought-tolerant plants, installation of a water fountain, and parking lot repairs including ADA striping. The new structure will be similar in size but includes upgraded and improved features for children and parkgoers. The overall project will upgrade, modernize, and improve the quality of recreation amenities offered to the community. Construction is anticipated to occur July 2025 and take approximately three to nine months to complete.
