Document Description
WSID will make up to 11,800 AF of Central Valley Project water available to Lower Tule River Irrigation District conveyed through the Delta-Mendota Canal and San Luis Reservoir in 2025. This transfer is well within the historical actions taken by West Stanislaus with respect to water transfers. The project is covered by the general rule that CEQA applies only to projects which have the potential to cause a significant impact on the environment. Here, continuation of WSID's annual transfer of CVP water to other districts is a continuation of the status quo, and it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the activity in question may have a significant effect on the environment; therefore, the activity is not subject to CEQA (CEQA Guidelines 15061(b) (3)).
